Stainless steel sanding sleeves, also known as spirabands, are designed specifically for controlled sanding, deburring and surface preparation on stainless steel and other corrosion resistant alloys when used with rubber drums on die grinders. Commonly used in fabrication, engineering, welding and food grade or hygienic environments, these sleeves are ideal for cleaning welds, refining edges and preparing internal diameters and contours where material integrity and finish quality are critical. Their construction supports smooth, consistent sanding while minimising heat build-up during use.

Manufactured with specialist abrasive grain suitable for stainless steel applications, these spirabands are formulated to prevent contamination and deliver controlled cutting action. Available in sizes including 30x20mm, 45x30mm and 60x30mm, they are supplied in coarse grit options such as P40 for aggressive stock removal and P60 for general preparation work.
