SDS Max

SDS Max is a heavy duty hammer drill system designed for high impact drilling and chiselling in concrete, masonry and stone. It uses a larger shank than SDS Plus, typically 18â¯mm diameter, with deeper drive slots that allow higher torque transfer and greater impact energy. SDS Max drills and accessories are intended for professional construction and demolition work where large diameter holes, deep drilling or continuous breaking are required.

SDS Max accessories, including drill bits and chisels, are used with SDS Max rotary hammers and demolition hammers. They are not interchangeable with SDS Plus tools. Typical applications include structural anchoring, rebar drilling, core preparation and breaking out concrete, making SDS Max the choice for heavy duty site work and industrial use.
