General Purpose

General purpose sanding sleeves, also known as spirabands, are designed for controlled sanding, deburring and surface preparation when used with rubber drums on die grinders. Commonly used in fabrication, engineering, welding and maintenance environments, they are ideal for cleaning welds, smoothing edges and refining internal diameters and contours. Their spiral wound construction provides consistent sanding action and good control in confined or hard to reach areas where precision is required.

Manufactured with durable abrasive material suitable for general metalworking, these sanding sleeves are available in a wide range of diameters and lengths to suit common rubber expanding drums, including sizes such as 10x20mm, 15x30mm, 22x20mm, 30x20mm, 45x30mm and 60x30mm. Supplied in popular grit grades including P50, P80 and P150, they support everything from aggressive material removal through to surface refinement. Designed for stable high RPM operation and predictable wear, general purpose sanding sleeves offer reliable performance and long service life for professional trade and industrial use when fitted to compatible drums and used with appropriate safety equipment.
