Non-Radioactive, All-Purpose TIG Performance

E3 tungsten electrodes (Purple Tip) offer a universal alternative to traditional thoriated tungsten, delivering excellent arc stability, cool running, and long tip life. These non-radioactive electrodes are ideal for DC and AC TIG welding across a wide range of materials and welding power sources.

E3 is a blend of rare earth oxides (including lanthanum, yttrium, and zirconium), engineered to improve arc starting, reduce electrode wear, and maintain a stable arc. Their versatility makes them suitable for most TIG applications without the health concerns associated with thoriated electrodes.
