Corrosion-Resistant Nickel Alloy Applications

Weld Star Alloy 825 is a nickel-iron-chromium TIG wire offering outstanding resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, including both oxidising and reducing media. Its fully austenitic weld metal exhibits excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance, especially in chloride-containing atmospheres.

This alloy is ideal for applications requiring similar chemical composition in overlay cladding or joining. It is widely used in the chemical, petrochemical, power generation, and pulp and paper industries where reliability in harsh service conditions is critical.
