High-Temperature and Dissimilar Alloy Welding

Weld Star Alloy 617 is a high-performance TIG filler metal designed for welding nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloys used in extreme temperature environments. It delivers excellent oxidation resistance and high-temperature strength up to approximately 1150°C, making it ideal for applications in aerospace, power generation, and petrochemical industries.

Its superior metallurgical stability makes it well-suited for overlay cladding and joining dissimilar high-temperature alloys, such as Inconel and Incoloy grades. Typical applications include gas turbines, nitric acid catalyst grids, and ethylene production equipment.
